Beyond Meaning

I never understand
that alone feeling 

or the red light
that accesses life 

know that the 
greater fight
against emotions
 
causes a boat to sink
in defeat  not victory 

leaving fait to question 
the mystery of this reality 

I face everyday 
pain is a reckoning
 
we never come to terms with
a growth that hurts the most 
who is a ghost to our soul
