Bicycle Girl and The Preachers' Son

Bicycle Girl and The Preachers' Son

My heart is bound --my path set down

to the ways of a preacher man's son

and one day I'll go to gilded places.

 Long before you came searching,

calling out my name so sweet

I knew about the games you like to play

 how you'd try to steal my soul, some day.

 Your sly reasoning and long legs;

hold all the pleasures of this world

 I knew, I'd have to look away

from all the weapons you carry;

 that can humble and weaken a strong,

God fearing man, like me.

You're more cunning

than a hungry lion

waiting under stars and pale moonlight

looking for homesick boys to prey on

with your comely form and raven hair

what a hallow soul you must own;

needing to devour,

wanting me to burn.

In midnight's restless hours

I wander from my bed

dreams of you still moving

coming to life, from my head.

 Making me ache for the scent of your perfume

 My eyes so carefully study you

 looking down from the side of my window

and that red dress fitting you so tight

radiant face smiling, soft with hard intent

standing by your bicycle,

beckoning me to come outside--down below

and ride with you.

causing my racing my heart to thunder

bringing sweat to to fall on the wooded ground.

And though my wisdom says hold still

 'my penis has its' own  mind'--

taking the reins of my weak will.

lol  Tony 'my penis has its own mind?"  you are funny, hey I had to use the quote Cherie left on a comment, 'my passion has its own mind' but I suppose it means the same thing lol.... been meaning to write this poem for over 5 years now....I wrote a friggin 3 act play back then saved it on the hard drive and yes my computer got destroyed....50 pages over  6 months of work down the drain....I took it to technicians but it was lost broke my heart; lol but not even funny....I can still see the play in my mind but I'm too lazy to rewrite it right now, this is my attempt to at least flesh it out a bit with poetry....the essence comes through, but there is much more to the story....thanks for awesome comment man, it hopefully will motivate me to rewrite the play or at least turn it into a short story and get it out of my head lol....cheers T

Cherie I owe you one!  do you remember the quote 'my passion has its own mind'  you made it last week I think, anyway it struck me to use it somewhere and like I just told Tony, I wrote this play a while ago and lost it; in essence it's the same story, but the play is way better than this; in my opinion lol, nobody will ever know since it got destroyed,  still swirling around in my head so I have to write it out and release it....thank you for inspiring me to attempt a poem from that play with your quote, and for your kind words in general, I wasn't sure if this one would be understood to be honest lol....greetings from the Big Smoke or Hogtown or just plain ol Toronto....have great evening

Chris man this great play short story or not this was so well done. You go into great detail about even yhe strongest willed men can weaken to the temptations to flesh of beautiful young luring women, and the underlying love. Well done man miss seeing you on here brother hope all is well.
