Billy goat gruff ❤️

Staring whilst bellowing in an adventurous mood

As he gazed down thru the snowy valley that meandered a bleached white wood

Should he find himself a nanny goat ? Well he would be contented forevermore if he only could..

And as he glanced at his homeland glen there was not a single sound

Oh how he felt heartache at his loneliness with not another goat around

So he decided “Enough is enough” and off he trudged his tread with four hoofs, this fed-up Billy goat gruff...

Well he descended down from the summit through the rough, rugged terrain

Following those rolling river rapids and onto that flat green grassy plain

And who knew as he sniffed the new pastures, he may never, ever go back up again

This arduous adventure has taken him all day long as the big old moon was on a wane..

Never mind Billy goat gruff was now at the very bottom of his mountain pass

Stopping for a rest now and then munching on that luscious fresh, new grass

When he did a double take coz there sat sleeping in a snowy crevasse 

Was the most beautiful nanny goat Billy had ever seen, Wow she looked a stunning lass..

Of course Billy goat gruff hung around and he made himself at home

And it was ‘Boy meets girl’ just like in a ‘Romeo and Juliet’ romantic poem

Where Billy and Nanny lived happily ever after in a den, from a ditch that looked like a dome

Raising three scruffy little kids that one day and not too far away, will have the urge to follow in their Father’s footsteps and wander off and roam...
