“BINGO!!!”

“BINGO!!!”

“Eyes down everybody, we are playing for a full house” as all the chattering in the hall went as quiet as a mouse..

Grandmothers with their cronies were sat whispering cheek-to-cheek, side-by-side one another where they sat every week..

As the balls started spinning anticipation filled the air, with a microphone in his hand sitting on a tall chair

“Kelly’s eye number one” was the very first ball, as little Timmy, Martha’s grandson ticked it off with a scrawl..

Using Grannies favourite pen, she told him it would bring him good luck, his Granny was always winning bingo but then she was a lucky duck..

“Little boy blue number two” wow Timmy had that too, as he  put a red cross on his bingo card, tho he still had loads to do..

“Legs eleven” gee whizz Timmy marked number eleven in a rush, he was getting hot and bothered making his rosy cheeks blush..

“Two little ducks twenty two” Oh golly gosh Grannie peeped at Timmy’s sheet, he was getting abit nervous tip-tapping his little feet

Well ten minutes past and Timmy was only needing three balls, every other number that was called was carefully crossed with his scrawls..

“Man alive it’s number five” yikey’s yet another one Timmy had, this game of Bingo was driving him mad!

“Duck and dive twenty five” Timmy nudged his Granny, “Ssshhh be quiet” said her best friend Annie..

“Pick and mix its’s twenty six” no no Timmy said under his breath as that nastly friend of Grannies give him the look of death

.”Stairway to heaven it’s number sixty seven”..”BINGOOO” shouted Timmy in a state of sheer disbelief.. who by this time was shaking like a leaf..

A lady came over and after checking Timmy’s game.. he had a full house, he had won alot of money putting him on the wall of fame..

All of Grannies chums rubbed Timmy’s tiny shoulder’s.. he couldn’t understand why saying “Ouch you are hurting me, I am not a boulder”

But that’s just what we do Timmy to get abit of your luck” “Huh” Timmy replied still feeling dumbstruck.. :)
