Birds calling things unknown

Birds calling things unknown,

Breath breathes to no end known,

Numbers number age to stone,Β

All coldΒ corpses grow cold alone.

The beggar curses his pennies,

The fat man curses hisΒ food,

The false man curses honesty

And the wise man curses the fool.

But no pain comes with true health

And no sun rays come with no rain,

And no claim of saintliness

Wills the devil bow in shame.Β
