Poem -

Birth and death.

From birth to death we are in line with certain roads and paths combined,  we travel well on hands and feet, then stand up tall as we compete,

with days and age we travel well, learning stories we can tell, we learn to love as we all grow, making friends and kindred foe,

We learn to live through our mistakes,
no matter how long it takes
Many lessons we all endure
Our imperfections seeking pure,

we live and love with innocent hearts,
for life has many challenging parts
But we all learn that life's a gift
To settle faithfully all our rifts

To be compassionate,  and to forgive is wise, before we come to deaths closed eyes

For when the timeline seems to bend, it often means we seek to mend, what may be broken before we go, for love is the greatest treasure  we know.
