Bitter Melon

Bitter Melon

You can't demand
 forgiveness..
unless I'm a God..
I'm only human..
I can't take on..
the policies
of the Universe..
You gain..
No ground with me..
it's set in stone..
and I'm sorry..
I can't change
what I possess..
You say I am bitter..
well yes..
Do you really
expect a well
of happiness..
for you..
You gave it away..
for greener grass..
reap what you sew.
