BLACK DOG SPINE----- LOST ITS COAT AGAIN

curling curled inside the outside
infested vacant thoughts chained to freedoms
closed lid open in its pandora scream
plain in violet colour
crumbling crashing waves of stone
lovers singing on impossible dreams
stunning grey how natural
this skin drips
I stand waiting baited by the ditch and contemplated steps

sprawling lonely life
moving against the fates challenge
losing hurtling churning heated hate
shouting unquiet tombs
loom from the darkest streets
thoughts trailing on drowning men
sweet-scented ghostly visions
give me a nameless sin

Morning came home late tonight
walk once more on crushing ice
as the coldest summer bites
fairytales all crucified
along the hot wet road

Curling out curled in
followed home on a black dogs spine
another,
any old friend of mine
