Black History- What if

What would of happened if Martin didn't dream?

If the slaves didn't sing,

if Jackie didn't make the team!

What would of happened if Malcolm didn't fight back,

would we still be under attack,

or would we be ashamed to be black.

If Rosa chose not to sit up front,

decided to ride where ever she want,

would there be a black history month.

I thank all those who showed courage,

looked in the face of death,

decided by any means,

a better life for us before this earth they left.

It's up to us to carry on there legacies,

then really think about,

without them where would me and you be?
