Poem -

black Saturday ( ashes score ) memory of February 2009 in Victoria, Australia.

Withering intentions
The forest fires display
To insolate everything
Within its way
Speeding against the wind
To burn the corners edge
Screaming trees
Restless ease
Horrors upon the breeze
No escape the burning flames
Victory to be the ashes score
Takes breaths of smoke to rise
Cornered now the in-between
Green burning before our eyes
Cloud of thickened ash
rising within the air
No amount of breathing clean
Could save the animals there
Burning feet
That run for dear life
Another horror within the life
Out in the Australian bush
A battle for survival
As strength is test revival
To build the land again
Remembering the ashes
Taken souls in vain
Memories of blackest night
crept amongst the day
The screaming land down under
A memory to never fade
The day the flames deciphered
To destroy that in its way
Ashes of heartache
The blackest night to day
A memory implanted
Within my head today
screaming of the burning flames
That of black Saturday
Victory was the ashes score
Destroyed everything in it's way.

( temperature's reached 46 degrees)
the state was in total fire ban ,
along with many of parts of Australia).

over 400 fires burning furiously across the land,
The Black Saturday Bushfires killed 173 people,
injured 414 people, destroyed 2,100 homes and displaced 7,562 people.

120 people were killed by a single fire in the Kinglake Area alone.

my heart still bleeds for all souls lost, and the devastation that stays in my mind today,
its nearing fire season, the weather in Australia is warming up again,
clean up your boundaries, be fire safe, and keep an eye on those around you,
especially the elderly, be safe this summer, be wise xoxo
