black tinted hearse

black tinted hearse

I sit up here on my bed, fixed on looking down on the floor where you use to sit, but this time was different you headed towards the door looked me in the eye and told me from your core sit down not to worry you were only going to the store. You disappeared without a trace and now all I hear is that your in a better place. Sometimes I wish I could just disappear unzip my skin and leave it here but that would never bring you back and keep you near. All my life all that I perceived I wore boldly on my sleeve. As death came around to give you a kiss the only markings it left were those cuts on your wrist. I tried to reframe from doing the same leaving you alone wondering who to blame. We'll name no names you claim and stake what is yours, you adore what now came crashing down on the floor. Shattered glass of what is now your past a broken heart that was never meant to last. How can my inspiration take a hold of my nation, innovation to change from yelling to conversation. I feel so misunderstood because my intentions were good. Remember we'd say we were cursed I just never thought it would be you leaving me in a black tinted hearse.
