Blank Page

Blank Page

This blank page I gaze upon,
          Bids me farewell, screams: ‘Begone!
Begone with your words in hordes,
Begone with such turds for words,
Begone with your saddened cries,
Or your search for truths and lies,
Begone now and leave me be,
For your dark words sicken me.’

Thus, I sway away my pen,
          Somewhat happy, somewhat pained,
Somewhat concerned as to how
I can cry my heart out now,
So, with tear in one eye,
I gaze as time passes by,
Soon, determined, I leap and scrap,
This blank page laid on my lap.
