Blessed Are the Pure In Heart

What a blessing to be
When our hearts are pure
To our God we come
For our sin He will cure

Blessed are the pure in heart
For they shall see him
Thus the scripture declares
Is on our life’s film

This our Lord Jesus said
When on the sermon mount
Declaring His eternal truth
So this we must not doubt

So we cry to be pure
In heart, word and deed
But only Jesus can do this
When we bow at His feet
