Poem -

Blind

In a world of darkness live,

Perpetual,  ever lasting night.

Never seen a beauteous sight.

...

Take for granted what I see,

Never once appreciating,

What my eyes are viewing.

...

Born and live with pitch black,

Adjust to see and read with hands,

Never making any demands.

...

Everywhere that I look,

I witness scenes of depravity,

Coveting rules this anarchy.

...

Sightless eyes never witness,

Our many sins and atrocities,

Or our many disabilities.

...

Close my eyes, so as not to see,

The wickedness of our society.

Easily forgotten natures beauty.

...

Is there any difference,

Between the blind and seeing,

When none witness God's working?

close your eyes to the light
fight
against seeing lifes beauty
depravity contains joy
pain was anothers pleasure
in the darkest night there iss a light that can be seen, even if you choose not to follow
and that hollow
that empty feeling
is just another way of seeing
