Blind Spouse

I was married to a blind woman for twenty years.
She walked out on me and it drove me to tears.
She had an operation and now she can see.
When she saw what I look like, she decided to divorce me.
She said that I'm ugly and she couldn't stand to look at my hideous face.
She thought that leaving me was justifiable but I think it was a disgrace.
I was a very good husband, I treated her like a queen.
But that means nothing to her, what she did was mean.
I've come to realize something and I'm one hundred percent sure.
She turned out not to be a good wife and I'm better off without her.
