BLINDED BY LIES

That we were blinded by lies comes as no surprise
for they are like blindfolds over our eyes
The enemy poses as an angel of light
so that his deeds are hidden from sight

He works his wicked sinful ways
covered by darkness all his days
Sending his cronies this way and that
destroying Gods children that’s where he’s at

But Jesus comes as truth and life
then agendas are uncovered open to sight
When we walk with HIM..HE helps us to see
the snares of the enemy for you and me

When we stand aside in Jesus arms
HE shows us the things that will cause harm
The things that will bind us cause us pain
HE sets us free makes us new again

Step aside for a moment admire the view
from a place of freedom me and you
Such revelation when you can see
such revelation when you are free

Free from the darkness free from the lies
seeing the truth with spiritual eyes
That we’ve blinded by lies comes as no surprise
they are like blindfolds to our eyes!!!

How many lies have you been blinded by?
How many things the truth did hide?
How many times were you held by fear?
By the things you were told..things you held dear?

Many now are walking with open eyes
things held dear are now seen as lies
Lies to hold them in a snare
snares of the enemy we need to beware

Snares that stop us from moving on
into Gods place where we all belong
Snares that keep us tied and bound
at least that is what I’ve seen and found

Father God is doing something new
it’s meant to release us me and you
The old be left way in the past
and the new will remain it will last

We are never to mix the old with the new
for it will pollute it will cloud our “view”
The new will refresh.. refresh our mind
we will become more loving and kind

The fruit of the Spirit will be seen
our garments fresh and white and clean
Old mixed with the new will cause it to sour
Father pours out the new in this hour

Won’t you drink of it all it will open your eyes
The things you will see are the things that are lies!!!!
