Blindsided

I’m learning, 
There’s no one in this world you can trust, 

It’s like filling up a balloon that eventually will bust, 

Im learning, 
Ice gets thicker the deeper you go, 

Dig far enough and hopefully you’ll find my soul, 

Im learning, 
The fire that kept me bright has snuffed out, 

But in the dark I’ll soon see without doubt, 

Im learning, 
To understand fear is to understand yourself, 

Funny how my fear is being happy and yet still needing help, 

Im learning,
Faith is believing in something you can’t see or have, 

Only to drive you closer to a peaceful end or end up going completely mad, 

Im learning, 
All of my family is dying away and I can only sit on the sideline, 

At least I didn’t feel it coming since it hits from my blindside.
