Poem -

Blood Stained Rose

Her tears could waterย
The dying rose that layย
In front of her .ย
It was faded and wilted,ย
Just like I was.ย
A petal would fall and crumble,ย
Just like a tear from her cheek.ย
She couldn't bring the rose back to life.ย
She couldn't bring me out of that mess.ย
So, in a bloody frustration,ย
She crumbled the rose.ย
The thorns stabbed and stabbed her;ย
She couldn't even feel the physical hurt,ย
Just the mental pain and angerย
That grew greater and greater over those hits.ย
A blood-stained and crumbled roseย
Couldn't bring her feelings of happiness.ย
Just more and more hate for herself.ย
She once told me that I was beautiful,ย
And happy that I was alive and with herย
But her tears couldn't bring me out of that mess,ย
So I crumbled.ย
There I was,ย
A broken, crumbled, and wilted rose.
