Bloodless Sword

Bloodless Sword

Bloodless Sword.   Olu Agbolade David

The elders gather at the public square ,
With a determination and resolution to
Finish what they started gingerly; their
Heart clouded by strange wickedness.

So they killed him
But he save them.
So they cursed him
But he blessed them.
So they betrayed him
But he defended them.
So they judge him guilty
But he free them from condemnation.

Even when their was a popular resolve
To do rightful but the echoes of darkness
Bearing down on the congregants till
Their hearts succumb to high conspiracy
Of the insiders to slay him right at the spot.

So they killed him
But he save them.
So they cursed him
But he blessed them.
So they betrayed him
But he defended them.
So they judge him guilty
WBut he free them from condemnation.

Those he knew would save and protect him
Turn out to be merciless vipers orchestrating
His destruction and disgrace without looking
Back or the interest they claim to serve.

So they killed him
But he save them.
So they cursed him
But he blessed them.
So they betrayed him
But he defended them.
So they judge him guilty
But he free them from condemnatio
