Bloom

Bloom

Forbearing eyes acutely
gloss the enrapturing ofΒ
a mirrored allure,
a succinct sway in
amorous reverie -

culminating luminescenceΒ
on an ink ridden sleeve
leaves velvet wrinkles
to bloom at the nape,

burgundy lilacs adrift,Β
a sweet incense of intrigueΒ Β
falls undiminished inΒ
realms of iridescent thought,Β

cast eyelashes carry each
verse to the hearts crevices,
strings weary,
mind craving,
igniting mortalityΒ

You turned my blood blue.
