Bluebell Wood By Jayne Davies

I dream I’m in a bluebell wood,
Your on the other side,
Gazing across the flowers,
Arms stretched open wide,
This was a special place of yours,
it was your favourite scene,
A place of love and happiness,
Tranquil and serene,
I hear a whisper through the trees,
The leaves begin to sway,
You smile at me so tenderly,
Then turn and walk away,
I wonder if your there now?
If so I’d like to say,
Pick a bunch for me Mam,
I’ll meet you there one day.

An affectionate debut poem, tenderly written and one from the heart.
Full honours to you but it's not about stars and pins, simply about the words and what wonderful words you have elegantly woven.
Welcome to Cosmo Jayne and good to see and read you!!!
All the best and poetry best to you, Shaun.
