Poem -

Bluest skies

You want to break the chains for freedom, unbound where beauty still applies, the river lays a stagnant wage, and the pocket bares the distant flies

Ripples in the water represent the times you laughed then cried,  the flowers of another lover, withered yet, have died

The inconvenience of the tadpoles,  the Croaking of another frog, the winter calls the mist towards heaven, and the light of fog,

There is an unavoidable part of loving well, we seem to reach for the bluest skies no matter where we dwell

Particularly on sunny days Where not a cloud would wonder by, but still we seek to find the blue in storms of angered sky

You want the break the chains for freedom, let all that holds the foot and toe, in all the ways I've loved thee truest,  time could only know.
