Poem -
Blushing
Blushing is two words together,
Blood rush.
What causes it?
Embarrassment,
Shyness,
Anxiety,
Nervousness,
I could go on for ages.
Blushing is not an art,
Though it is beautifulÂ
The inability to hide what goes on inside of you,
A giveaway to crush on someone,
A reminder of embarrassment over a situation that happened years ago
Blushing,
Painless yet a painful giveaway.

I really like this, Kate...it is a terrific poem, straight up, and a terrific and unusual subject matter for poetry as well, (a winning combination) yes blushing is an emotional 'tell' for sure, does not tie itself to one emotion either, from embarrassment to joy, it all depends on the situation, so few words can imply so many different things, love the subject and excellence in execution, makes for a stirring write....have a great evening
