Poem -

Escape

Your touch,
Once delicate like rose petals
Now blisters my skin.

Your words,
Once melodies in my heart,
Now breaking glass.

Your kiss,
Once took my breath away,
Now it's thorns on my lips.

My heart no longer beats for.
I have escaped your clutches,
And now I know my worth.
