Boasting

From the fields of snow and somber,
Came a warrior wise and worthy,
And with her came a foul beast who lurked and longed for another likewise,
Whom couldn't be set astray from the darkness and demons beneath,
But those hissing words of acid were no match for her knifing kindness,
For her bestowing bravery, for her flowering forthcomings,
She soon discovered starlight in the opaque abyss,
And questioned you warriors slashing and slaying, have you no mercy?
Have you no gentle guidance from our Glorified God?
Have you no power over punishment and prejudice?
Know now to turn the other cheek,
Know now that as a child of the Great Giver, you will strive as this she-wolf so plans,
For you, darling, will soar on eagle's wings,
Fighting hateful spittle with a loving, caressing hand,
Loving those who have ceased love upon themselves and one another,
Just as your soldier here has so shown.
