Bold

Boldly unique in who they are.

Numerous battles with differences, because society chose to differ.

Through the struggle for acceptance, they've come oh so far.

Just because spirits feel they're inside comfort less bodies doesn't mean they're ungodly.

So I ask society,

Who are we to tell someone how to be or feel?

Or impose which feelings are real.

What about the lifestyle we choose to live?

What about the sins we commit?

Why separately categorize their differences?

Allow them to be who they are without limits.

Such amazing individuals.

Determined to use their voices.

The violence against them due to personal choices.

Unapologetically speaking out.

Unashamed of what the heart admires.

Concealing the scarring insults, while holding their heads higher.

Unable to comprehend?

That's ok.

While others whisper "Learned behavior",

They shout,"We were born this way"!
