Poem -

Bondage

The heart has a freedom the mind can't contain

There isn't even words to try and explain

The recesses that are hidden deep within

This place were our memories and love are stored

Sometimes instead they hold sorrow and pain

Regrets of all the things that went wrong

Repeating itself like the saddest of songs

A prison is what it becomes
The bars hold us hostage and never let go
Reminding us of our broken roads
