I woke up to sunshine
a beautiful day
now I'm walking in a downpour
why all the rain
I'm doing things right
so what's with the pain
I thought I was through this
I'm going insane
I lost lives to addiction
dealing and pain
why did I do this
living that way
I damaged my soul
with the passing of days
it's dark outside
can't see through the haze
walking in clouds
lost in the maze
I have a new life
on a whole new phase
I've checked in to life
extended my stay
I clutch to the light
God's paving my way
I'm learning to give
like back in the day
before I got lost
and strong on my way
when dealing in death
there's costs need be paid
so I rebuild with hope
till the end of my days
I'm paying the piper
for the error of my ways
I give thanks to I AM, THAT I AM
I sing him my praise
I'm projecting my spirit
my positive ways
the laws of attraction
I'm learning the ways
I cleave to the secret
and focus my gaze
it's far 'round the round-a-bout
heading my way
my energy's a boomerang
saving the day
look out for my love
it's coming your way
the miracle's real 
and with that I say
so fortunate am I
to be living this day
so taste of my sunshine
not of my rain
feed off my spirit
not off my pain
feel of God's spirit
the warmth of the flame
I put it all out there
