Born Between Breaths

We walk a bubble, and dance a blade; and some balance the
Rope of infinity; and some anger the masses. I awoke to
Such thoughts, and chanted heart; thus, ever and anon, my
Love; and now and then, my love; for life—is often glass;

And we long for steel; but such would perish; for life bends;
And thoughts turn; and thus perception—a rubber band; and
Fly such wind, a saving grace; and die such brick, a thorn
Of spears; and thus she clave, a life-time miracle; and she

Cried: “The eyes see not”; and pain moved so slowly; and
God spoke: “The light is a cave: a mind-cave.” We prayed the
Contour; and read the Word; and thresh the mind; and kissed
The Spirit; and lived to flourish; and flourished to die; and
Died to live; and God smiled—the tribunal; and candles
Burned; and life was born.
