A Brand New Me...

Life wasn't always fair

But I was still hopeful

That change would come

Beginning with me

The new year wouldn't be

Just another year

Infact I made a resolution

To start off fresh and new

Beginning with the things

That I say and do

Procrastination wouldn't live

At all with me

And doubt will be

Further away too

They say whatever you

Speak you become

Therefore my words need

To be positive I felt

For a better outcome

I'm determined to be

A brand new me

And live out

My life's fantasy

My resolution will indeed

Become a reality

Because I choose to

Become a brand new me

Despite years of doubt

And insecurity
