BRAVE FACE NEEDED

The tears he cried are soon washed away
Out of his bed now to face another day
Brave face needed like many times before
Ready now to see what the day has in store 

Head down as the bus took him to work 
Responsibilities not in his nature to shirk 
Would soon forget his worries and woes 
Took it all in his stride I know and suppose 

His day done as the key turned his door 
That brave face not needed now for sure 
Time to relax and wallow in his self pity 
He's not alone in the vastness of his city
