Being Me, It seems that you like what you read. I don’t usually write very short poem but this one appeared on my head and I didn’t want make it any longer. Thank you for being here, Tina.
I like the alliteration on the last line. Sorry Bernadette this one has me stumped. Maybe I am losing my touch. I do like the last line. Sorry my friend. B
Sometimes a person appears as tough & a bit heartless from having or have had a hard life, but we can break that shell by understanding that under that armour (the dry soil), goodness can grow.
Another one…
Goodness is already there, hidden under that armour, and if we show the way, it will surface. Or…
I think Tina might see it her own way.
And you Bernie, have your own way of seeing things. Thank you heaps for reading and telling me what you think. B
Thank you John. So good you're here! if your wife is ''harvesting the wine"
as she got older, she's in the right path to the long road to wisdom.
Some will never reach this road. I think that the both of you are definitely
getting there. Greetings from Bernadete.

Yes I see that now. Thank you for saying what you intended when you wrote it. I appreciate that.
You losing your touch? Never!
You like a bit of challenge.
Cheers Bernadette. I do but sometimes I am not up to it.
Short yet poignant. Nice work
John
Simple lines, but so effective and so relatable (my wife is finally harvesting the wine after 37 years🍷)
