Breaking up

Breaking up

Our love has dwindled, shriveled to dust,
Our separation is now a must,
I gave you my all, and you threw it away,
I  would be a complete idiot if you convinced me to stay!

You message other guys, and tell them they're cute,
You ask them "what's poppin'" and they quickly answer you,
Why would you lie to me? And tell me you're real?
When all this time it was my heart you wanted to steal!

Well I've taken in back, and now I'm single,
It's time for me to do me, it's time to mingle!
I know my lady's out there, somewhere she's real,
But I'm gonna stay single cause my heart can't deal!

I've been through enough, we've wasted nine years!
We always argued, but we held back the tears.
We thought that there was a special connection,
But I guess it's all for nothing, wasted affection.
