breaking my skin
sadness finds the day
i feel my soul rip away
closer to heaven i become
deadened to feel all but numb
quiet in my every thought
louder from sorrows brought
a war in time trapped in my mind
cold and drawn by echoes behind...
consumed by the fire...
i am lost within...
