Poem -

Breath the Air of Dreams

Breath the air of dreams
Nightly haunting me
For lost things, lost forever
While they die adorning the sky
Of stars falling through the air
To dissolve into ribbons of
Stardust, while the moon plays
Hide and seek with wandering
Gypsy clouds that fade and rise and shadow

The night passes long and still
Too hot to sleep but not to think
Of melancholy and secretsΒ
The lonely sorrow of the rain
Crying for one thing, known and near
My empty heart, lying dead
Left behind, this old world
Of dread - without you

Nothing will be the same again
Alone my soul stands here
I do not care
As I used to do
There had been roses hereΒ
Breath the air of my nightmareΒ
