Never Look for dreams
You only find nightmares 
Where the white moon climbs
And the world grows dim

A wandering breeze by
Long and shadowy way's 
Woo's me with a song
The saddest song in all the world 

And now the warmth of sighs 
Over my fingertips - and 
There under the starlight
And shadows - in a place 
Of star - fire with 
Bells more many than sighs
And held me with the
Smoke of their dreams

Half lost in the sound
Of the bells - and
My tears fall down like rain
I shiver and turn about
Till starlight and midnight part
Till the moon and stars die
Making clouds with my breath
