Poem -

Breathe

Precious moments get us through

How glorious is the sun streaming over my kitchen cupboards on a cold winter day

Shaddows of the bobbing branches that cascade o'er our fence give the cheeky lorikeets away

So I glimpse through the window above the gurgling sink

And sure enough as bright I blink they're there

Nibbling on the bottlebrush and making mess everywhere

But I don't care cause such a display has crowned the middle of an earlier gloomy day

I smile to say hi and wipe the cups the plates and silvers dry

This joy so intense I could cry

My life's not so bad afterall as confirmed in an openned letter

The bill way less than I had estimated

God's grace so kind

Makes all things better
