Poem -

Brendan

You’ll never realize how broken you left me until

You cross the shattered pieces along your path

I could have loved you

I only say I could have because I’m scared to admit that I did

The thought of you blurs my vision

If only I were out of tears

My only recollection of comfort is your bed,

 Leaving it left me broken

Saying no was harder than you were,

But I wasn’t ready to give you all of me

I’m sorry
