Bricks & Wax

How far shall we go? I’m nearly invisible; and rhythms speak
Patterns; and I love a phantom. She disappeared; and heaven
Flamed. I watch her manifest: the souls of others; and fire
Calls a mirror. Remember my heart: it spoke compassion; and

From a distance: I carried pain. What is this miracle: a grove
Of found souls? She uttered spirit; and I danced shallow: why
Expose self? A young girl ponders; and mother watches. She
Questions the absolutes; and nature growls. I love you more

At peace; and I remember your name; and I pray your heart.
So much to conquer joy; and she cuts and maims: of course,
The spirit. Forgive the nightmare; and pardon the palace:
Even the paradox. I feel the anger; but Spirit cries; and ponder
The actual reality; and thus, truths devastate; and lies hurt;
But we dare to cast a thousand spells.
