Bright city lights

I can see the bright city lights glistening in the distance
Maybe one day i can be where they are
Instead of just watching them from my bedroom window
Maybe one day i can be one of them
A light shining so bright because i finally found where i belong
I see them and they're just miles away
So close, yet just out of my reach
One day that will change
But until that day i can only dream
And sit by my window at night
A watch the magical city lights gleam.
