Britain was Great đź’™

Britain was Great đź’™

Back in those days with the docks full of ships, and the sailors had cigarettes hanging out their mouths from the Embassy tips..

When men went down mine-shafts totally blackened by the coals, risking their lives for pittance of wages..poor brave souls..

Britain was great in those bygone days of old, people had more respect for law and order and little ones did as they were told..

So our nation thrived digging for coal and producing steel, in our ports throughout the country..export and import was a huge, big deal..

But within the timelessness of time everything changed, what with the modernisation of new technology..employment situations rearranged..

Yet it was a pitfall and such a crying shame, when all the Fishermen in the local communities died out and the EU got the blame..

Mind you they sometimes say that the cogs of life can repeat cycles from the past, and if Britain got it’s Great back again..now wouldn’t that be a blast!!
