Broken

Breaking, she falls on her knees and all she can hear is the shattering of her heart.

Flowing, she stabs the screwdriver through her flesh the way she had multiple times envisioned.

Silence, she keeps her mouth closed, screams caught in her throat, she knows she can’t go through this anymore.

Darkness, she starts to fade into the darkness as the blood drains from her, she stays focused on the fountain, but all begins to blur.

Fear, she is finally out of the depression and feels dizzy, but the fear isn’t there, all she feels is the cold and she welcomes it.

Death, she wasn’t ready for this part, but she should have known it would have happened.

Release, she watches from high above, the body she had for so long is now cold and pale on the floor, the blood around her starts to clump to her skin and dries in her hair.

Freedom, she is now free from the pains of the world, she is now in an eternal rest, she has met freedom, and his hold on her is officially broken.

Guilt, she feels none except for abandoning all of those who she never gave a chance to help when she knew they cared, but she knew in the end she would be forgiven and finally she has satisfactory that her blood will forever be on his hands.
