Poem -

Broken

 Home is where the heart is;

                        Where the light is, where the dark is.

            Home is where the tides rise;

                        All my enemies, my allies.

            Home is where my mind goes;
                        Where my blood flows, where they all know my secrets.

            Home is where the love lives;

                        Where we forget, we forgive,

                        Where I am held captive.

            Home is where the pain stays;

                        Where the flames blaze,

                        Where the promises lay – broken.

It is sad that one feels that "home", where you should feel the most safe, would have you feeling broken.

This is a sad poem, but a good story. I wish I had words to make it better, but I have not the words that are needed. Good luck in life, Anthony
