Broken Angels Can Fly

Broken Angels Can Fly

I spread my wings, and I’m free
I choose not to see the best
The thing you can do is be
Feeling a heavy chest

You go for the people
They choose to ignore or heal
Life can seem like a steep hill
Boulders of pain you will feel

Take that leap and spread your wings
Don’t let them dim your bright light
Happiness won’t be from things
You don’t have to run and fight

You have the power to fly,
make sure to soar far and high

Hello, Harmony.
Good abab rhyme scheme all throughout your melancholy musing. You've also included some fairly good examples of slant rhyme, such as "people" and "hill".
More important than the technical aspects of your piece is the message of hope and perseverance it conveys.
Well done, nice write!
