Broken Dream

A dream lost in the wind

     Broken, shattered

    Into thin little pieces

Like it never really mattered

A dream so grand, so powerful

           So majestic

But broken by troubles and trials this life suggested

A dream filled with hope

       Wonder, mystery

And treasures in large quantity

  A dream lost in a void

   Nowhere to be found

        A broken soul

       Forever bound
