Poem -

Broken Dreams

The mirror broke and dreams were shattered,

all around me the glass was scattered.

Silent screams filled the air then slipped away

and broke the stare.

Pieces of dreams all over the floor,

they'll never be the same as before.

Broken dreams won't ever come true,

let go of the pieces that are haunting you.

Clean the mess these dreams have made

feel as though you've been betrayed.

A tiny sliver remains in sight,

reflecting off the bedroom light.

Pick it up and throw it away,

this dream just wasn't meant to stay.

Good poem. I liked the rhyme scheme. And sadly our dreams may not work out in this world.
