Broken Heart

A heart is so fragile and life can be so hard 
our hearts should be made of a substance 
that never could be scared 
But God in His magnificience knew how it had to be 
made our hearts as soft as a baby`s breath 
and placed them in you and in me 
The adversity of life...the cruelty of man 
shatters the the tender spirit...and makes us doubt His plan 
We try to stop the bleeding wound that is called life 
with home spun remedies that leave us bitter 
and only gender strife 
The only cure for the tattered,torn and wounded heart 
comes daily at sunrise...it`s called a brand new start 
One more day to walk in love..to dull the pain we feel 
For God in all His wisdom...Made something only He can heal
