Broken Offering

I don't have much to bring , 
Just these dirty rags , 
And rusted chains , 
How could you accept ,
Such an offering ? 
Oh Lord how could you love a man like me ,
That has nothing to give but his broken heart ,
So as I bow my head In shame , 
I'll still bring you praise . 
I've fought for so long ,
These demons within ,
Only to find myself bruised and broken again ,
Oh My Master !!!!
Oh My King !!!!
Would you please have mercy on me ? 
I've tried to run , 
I've tried to hide , 
Oh but I know you see through my disguise ,
So how how could such a Holy King ,
Be willing to accept such an broken offering ? 
In the silent I wait , 
And in the silent I walk , 
In the stillness of the night , 
Oh so cold is this barren waist land ,
But wait I see a man !!!! 
Glory round bout , 
And arms stretched open wide ,
Could It be ,
That our hearts would collide ? 
If but for a moment ,
Only to be free ,
Could he possible ever love me ?
Oh my child why do you flee ,
Be still for just a moment , 
And come dine with me , 
Give me your heart , 
And I'll make you whole ,
I'll break those chains , 
And clean your robe ,
No more rags , 
Just the finest clothes,
It's why I died oh didn't you know ? 
40 stripes and arms open wide ,
It was for your Shame , 
That I suffered and cried ,  
Run to me my child ,
And I'll set you free ,
Fix your broken heart ,
Piece ,
By piece ,
Oh how I've longed to hold you ,
I've heard your Ernest plea ,
Now as I hold you in my bosom ,
In my presence you are free , 
So learn to be loved ,
And live with me in peace ,
It's my grace that supplies all your needs,
Bring out the dancers ,
Singers ,
And tambourines ,
Set the feast ,
Bring the best ,
Oh my child you can finally rest ,
So be at ease and come dine with me ,
I'll humbly accept all that you bring , 
Even if it is a broken offering .
