Don't promise me a rose garden-

My life have never been a bed of roses

Only broken promises and nothing more

Funny how some people can have it all

Joy and happiness,

Piece of mind and freedom

Something that I have only dreamed of.

Time after time you Promise,

Promise that things will change

Only they stay the same.

To me promises are only dreams

Dreams that I forgot about long ago

I learned a long time ago
