Poem -

Broken Spirits

Broken spirits,

Shatter of hearts,

A love long gone

From time and space.

Fresh flow of tears

From a hardening heart

Consumed in sorrow

Of eternal shame.

Like a thief in the night-

Abrupt and ruthless-

A treacherous love

So quickly fading.

Walls have shattered,

Trust has altered,

Love's sweet melody

Forever ruptured.

Joy has vanished

And torment remains-

A Broken spirit

Steadily sinking.

At death's door love stands

Engulfed in distress,

Completely dismembered

From pain's Ferocious blaze.

Hey Angie,

Just as Shirley states, Wow, A heart brokenand misplaced,
never to be remended, love songs once a bounty fit for a queen or that of a
queens ransom, though now lost to  momentous moments of a tortured
soul, lost at heart, trust no longer a harborer of the will, to freely open up to another, a menagerie
of love fragile to the touch. A stumbled upon love affair, so abruptly disguarded without care.....Lovely piece of that broken heart, remains and is displayed in your poem....

Kind regards,

Jim

Dear William,

A beautiful lesson in your heart remains by your beloved mother. I like to extend my loving regards to her soul that must be shinning down on you still and forever, for she has raised you as a righteous, loving, and a compassionate man of God, with golden words sprouting from the soul of his pen.

I will take every word above to heart.

Ones who are blessed with a gift, bare the responsibiliy to share, for their blessing be many folds.

Kindest regards

Shirley
